Antagonism between individual actions and their social judgement is always presented in productions by VELEKEI László Harangozó Award Holder choreographer. This time he has chosen an eternal topic to create his new choreography we all know: love. This production composed of brief etudes shows the various faces of love, which is sometimes a stormy sea, while a slowly babbling brook at other times. Fight and game between two persons: to injure and to be wounded, to heal and to recover. But who will bleed to death from the wound caused to the other?

Leading dances of the Ballet Company of Győr enter the “love ropes”. BALÁZS János Liszt Ferenc Award Holder pianist will join them, with his youthful élan and outstanding technical virtuosity, who interprets piano works by LISZT Ferenc and Richard WAGNER through his individual musical approach, along his own ideas.

The performance is a joint production by the Palace of Arts and the Ballet Company of Győr

In our performance we present the colour and diversity of the Transylvanean diaspora through unique folk dances and songs. Through history Hungarians and Romanians while maintaining their traditions, but through close interaction they developed their vastly rich traditions. This interaction prevails in different ways in different regions, and this shows not only in the consciousness, but in wear, dance and music also.

In our folklore compilation we have mainly dances from Gyimes, Szilágyság, Elek, and Vajdaszentivány regions, helping to promote these. Our "Yesterday I was in Gyimes" performance's portrays the richness of the diaspora, so that a unique archaic world in brought to the stage. The Maros Art Ensemble puts emphasis on discovering and promoting the diaspora's folklore, giving a chance to others the get accustomed to these beautiful dances.

he accelerating challenges and effects of our world divides our personalities longing to conform to more and more parts. Equality entices the instincts of our complex inner being to want to break free.
Harmony may restrain the broken apart parts of our being and the components of our personalities.
The balance is provided by the ranking of our values and the importance of their properties.
According to Native American wisdom, you can make yourself at peace of you feed the personalities within you which you want to keep alive. Even though all of them is you and you can become what you want to be, you can only create your balance and defeat instincts wanting to break free if you feed your complex inner being correctly.
